trying to re blue a BAR?
I´m trying to reblue a BRowning Automatic rifle in ´06.
I´ve reading many years and in too many forums so here is the question. I once read that some Browning rifles had a piece of aluminum and that made them tricky to reblue, I´m using oxynate 7 and don´t want to ruin a nice weapon: Which Browning rifles are the ones with the aluminum piece? any advice is welcome thanks Joe Mariné |

pepemarine, I recommend you contact Browning to be sure but as far as I know the BLRs are the only ones with the insert. The BAR and the BPR have barrel 'extensions' and are threaded straight into the receiver. George
