Absolutely not true. I own 1911’s from 5 different companies and none of them jam. I have seen people that 1911’s jam on. They will shoot just fine for other people, but you put it in their hands and it will fail to fully eject or feed. Some might blame limp wristing, but there is just something that they’re doing that it doesn’t work for them.

Well if you shoot a lot of JHP's the Colt frame will wear out at the feed ramp so I only buy steel framed 1911's. Ask me how I know :-0
As far as the frame getting you in the ribs, an Officer mode will fix that. |

I'll move my Tisas to trading stock status. I need to reduce the "meh" guns in the accumulation...because collections have themes. I can understand the passion for the old warhorse, it just does not fill a niche for me. Range time gets costly slinging 230 grains at a time. 9 is cheap enough to just buy ammo for range time. I do enjoy reloading, I don't enjoy reloading bulk range and target ammo. .45 does have the plus of being a big fat easy to handle case, so it has that going for it.
