vortex scope

I bought a new Vortex crossfire II 6 - 18 x 44 with AO
The elevation and windage turrets seem kind of mushy, like no definite click when making an adjustment. Also it is extremely difficult to adjust the OA and get a sharp clear sight view. It seems to always be just a bit blurry. Trying to decide if I should send it back to Vortex or just return it for a refund and buy a Nikon.

Same thing but on my diamond back 4x14x40 yes mushy as well I sent it in and had it back in 5 days.It was gone through by them. The reticle holds just fine where I put it so only if it's apsolutely unoperable your ok.I posted my VX6 being mushy it works fine we can't be the only ones.

Something is wrong with it. Send it in and get a replacement. Or have the store/vendor you bought it from give you a new one while they send in that one.

If it was just the mushy turrets I could live with it but it will not focus clear at any power or range.
