http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/11/us...th-dakota.html I thought it might be interesting to discuss the difference between this and the Malheur stand-off/protest/whatever. The media is clearly taking a much difference stance. There are some clear differences in how the protest is being operated and also some similarities. Although it certainly seems the protesters have broken quite a few laws and have trespassed on private and public property, they have not taken control of a federal building. |
