Walther PPQ .45 magazine question

Anyone else tried using Remington RP45 mags in their PPQ?

There’s a few vids on utube showing this. Doesn’t show the frame to magazine fit.

Seems to run fine and the Remington mags are 15 vs 12 rounds. And a bit cheaper to boot.

Curious what it looks like, and if anyone else has had luck with this.

They could possibly work. Though this does not apply to the Walther a similar situation with a .380 I bought was reveal to me by the salesperson that the magazine for my particular pistol was interchangeable with 2 different .380's from different manufacturers. The best part is that my magazines were $20 cheaper. So the same could hold true for your firearm.

I didn't see it mentioned in a quick search on the Walther Forum.

Means I stink at searching for something in under 5 seconds or it's not a thing...

Likely the fit will be similar to the 14rnd Para mag here.

I seem to remember back when the RP series came out that some reviews mentioned some of the reliability problems may have been tied to the magazines. If they work reliably I say go for it, I’d just be cautious of trading well made and functioning magazines for something ad-hoc.
