Taurus Gaucho
I need ideas on what I could get for a 5.5", chrome, 45 LC Taurus Gaucho with less than 500 rounds through it.

What did you pay for it? I usually figure somewhere around 3/4 it's original price tag if it is still in pristine condition (no handling marks and still looks new) down to around 2/3 or less if there's obvious wear but still functions with no issues.

When they were selling on closeout they were selling for less than $300.00. Unfortunately they have a somewhat tarnished reputation, one that I think is not warranted. I have a .357, 5 1\2" blued version that I bought over 5 years ago and have not had any problems with it having fired over 2000 rounds through it. I could never sell it for 1\2 of what I paid for it although I am not looking to sell it. I love it's silky smooth trigger and it's looks. Looking at all the negative posts on the Gaucho they are almost all .45 not .357. Why I don't know but that seems to be the way it is.

If I could get one for $200 or less, I might take the risk.
