As long as they feed reliably in your gun...it doesn't matter much.
It's still a .45 ACP slug if it doesn't expand. |

Winchester White box ammo. generally shows faster chronograph numbers than other "target/plinking" ammo.
I don't think +P ammo is needed in a .45, so the white box jhp offers a nice combination of reliability and speed. If your gun works with it, it's good ammo for the price. It's what I carry in my S&W 1911SC.

WW 45 auto hollows
This is the ammo that I carry in my CCW. It is good ammo and I think it will do just fine. After all there are NO Magic bullets and even if it failed to open up it's still 230 gr 45cal. bullets. Good enough for me.

I like it, is cheaper than fancy mini boxes of super ammo, and it shoots accurately for me. Reliable in my Colt. And shoots about the same as the ball ammo for practice purposes. Well is usually cheaper, I have seen prices all over the place at the same show, but sometimes gunshow dealers get it in cases and sell it at real good prices. Retail stores seem alot higher.

I've used it in both 45 ACP and 9mm and have had no problems at all. It is a reliable feeding HP.
