Scrape brass prices
I am in N. Illinois and have 250 lbs of expended primers and fired brass cartridge cases---no shotgun primers or steel cartridge cases, nor any loaded rounds. I see the going rate is $2.05/lb but the local scrape dealer here only pays $1.00/Lb (see below). Was wondering if this is a fair deal---I had heard many places will not buy cartridge brass due to unfired rounds possibly being in the batch.
Yes, we will buy them. The markets for them are slim and the handling and processing is expensive. We're at $1.00/lb for them. |

The last I sold was on 8/16 and the price was $2.49 a pound. Major scrap vendor, PSC Metals in Chattanooga.

I would do non reloadable parts at that $1.
I would go on MeWe and sell the rest. I am sure you could get more than a $1 a pound selling just bulk reloadable brass. |
