what i do know is 130g projectile is going just over 2600fps at 29.2g's of the powder im using and a 140g projectile moves at 2400 fps with 28g of powder so if i had to make a guess atm id say theese are right in the 2500 fps range |

You must be shooting a bolt gun. Hornady lists no data for a 140.

im shooting these out of an ar in 6.5 grendel
Finally got around to shooting just a few more of the 135g a-tips out of the 6.5 grendel. just 4 rounds@100y .tried to beat the winds this am but they are already over 30mph so this was rushed af,was just no way to keep the wind from moving me around ,wasn't trying to b accurate but just get an idea and Chrono numbers .. 2512, 2515, 2519, 2515 fps for the 4 rounds , they show promise for sure 28.6g of alliant power pro varmint cci #400 hornaday brass oal of 2.260 if it wasnt for the wind moving me and the rifle around this would have been a excellent group wont be able to push theese any harder and infact im going to back down to either 28.5 or 28.4g of ppv ive tested 28.5 and its good , im going to shoot 28.4 and see if its any better , either charge will put me just under 2500fps , and with the supressor i should be just over Last edited by mel80; June 28, 2020 at 01:43 PM. |

130rdf 5 rds theese leave the muzzle at 2600 fps and iirc this was the 140 eld-m and theese leve the muzzle at 2400 fps |

I use Sierra 140 gr. and get one shot knockdown in most hunting scenarios.
Same load in my contender and AR. Very consistant! |
