on a friends muzzle loader target rifle the first shot went off before I had the sights lined up then he told me don't try to put your finger on the trigger just touch the side of the trigger. That was light for sure.

This thread inspired me to backoff the accutrigger on my new savage 110 338 Lapua rifle--digging into my box it came in I discovered the adjustment dohicky did not come with it (drat) but managed to get it down around two pounds which is fine by me for a rifle that I spend half my time shooting in winter conditions. Couple of minor "irritations"--the adjustment cannot be made with just the trigger guard off--the adjustment screw is blocked by the bracket the screw hole the rear trigger guard screw goes through--so I had to remove the stock altogether in order to get at the adjustment screw.

3 ounces is the lightest I have ever pulled. Unless you count a release trigger, then -2 pounds.

Less than six ounces on the Jewell on my fifty, before I decided that 1 1/2 lbs was more appropriate. I don't know what the set trigger on the Sharps is, but it's not suitable for gloves.

My 1943 "IZZY" M91/30 'true' PU sniper...that I bought 'used' from a gunsmith shop & store. You'd look at it and it would go off.
I never measured the trigger pull, though I had to replace the trigger leaf spring and trigger; after it had failed my perpendicular 1 foot drop test on a carpeted floor. The Russian commissar, that did drop tests with live ammo on M1891's in a New England Westinghouse gun factory here in the U.S. --- in 1915; was tricked by factory workers, when they purposely made the trigger pull so light that the M1891 would fail on his drop test --- And it did go off...putting a hole in the factory roof.

Colt 22 LR peacemaker, stag grips.
After cocking the hammer. A sharp exhale/blow of air would make the hammer fall. |

Buddy has 6oz on long range target rifle, and I really don't like it. I want to be able to put my finger on the trigger without it instantly going bang. Not being able to touch the trigger while waiting for respiratory pause makes trigger press and follow through less smooth for me.
