Nassau County, Long Island NY Gun Buy-back?

Does anyone know when the next buy-back will be for Nassau County NY, or Suffolk? I'm looking to trade in a couple of old guns, but I can't seem to find any information about the next event.

I know they host these events frequently, but by the time I hear anything about them, they are already over. Can anyone help me out? Thanks guys!

why would you trade guns to the cops for a fraction of their value? bring them to a gunstore and get more for them. Last time ny did one of these they were offering $50 dollar gift cards for each gun.

The last one in nassau, they were offering $200, people even brought in zip guns made of copper pipes.

It's a saturday night special, barely worth 50 bucks, and since they've given $200 at the last few events, I figure it's a good deal.

Info from the program

Quote:
gun owners who brought in illegal handguns received $200 in cash. No personal information was required, no forms were signed, and no video or audio footage was recorded. Rice said holding the event at local churches fosters an environment of trust.

THAT IS DEFINITELY a different story then. where i dont believe in surrendering firearms to police i do believe in legal ownership especially in NY.
