.308 Comparison - Bullets

I've been building .308 loads based on the Sierra 168 gn HPBT Matchking. What would be some comparable bullets to try for comparison? I'm loading for accuracy shooting ou tot about 600 yards. I'd like to stay in the same bullet weight range for now.

http://www.6mmbr.com/308Win.html has a whole paragraph on .30 bullets.

Click here for a comparative image of ten .30 bullets.

i use the .308 168 grain Hornady Match. they have no problem giving me .5 inch groups at 100 yards and are much much cheaper than the sierra's. their BC is a little bit less but to 600 yards i dont think you will notice.

Note that at .308 and .30-06 velocities from the usual 10" twist barrels, the 168 grain Sierra's become unstable at about 700 yards as they drop into the transonic range. Slower twist barrels have gotten them to go further, in a counter-intuitive example of overstabilizing at work. The 175 grain Sierra MatchKing has no such problem. The Hornady 168 grain A-max does very well wit 10" twists, but I have not had an opportunity to try them beyond 600 yards.
