SA XD(M) Question

Hey friends,

I've got an XD(M) .40 with the 3.8" barrel, but I'm looking to buy another XD(M) in 9mm. I found a good one on GunBroker, but I noticed that it didn't have the barrel length etched on the side like all the other ones I've seen. Does that just mean it is an earlier or later production model and they changed things up?

Thanks!

Which side of the slide were you looking at? As far as I know, the barrel length is only etched on one side - the side with the slide release.

Good choice, I have a 3.8 xdm 9mm. I love it, it is my EDC!

I haven't seen any without the etching, possibly an aftermarket slide (though I haven't heard of those for XDM) I would just message the seller
