Marlin Texan carbine saddle ring
Just plunked down some moola on a Texan Marlin 30/30 in excellent condition. 69 stamped on the tang. Now the saddle ring, on the left side, is broken off.
How does one replace it? Is it screwed or revitted in? Thanks, Deaf

If I remember correctly it is screwed in. If you remove the lever and bolt you should be able to see the back side of the stud to be sure.
