The 41 Keith HP is here!!

It's here, it's here!! I've been wanting one of these for quite a while. I have the solid version and have wanted the HP version but it has been sold out for a long time. So I called up NOE directly and explained what I wanted and that it hasn't been in stock for a long time, and while I was on the phone with him, he went and pulled the tooling and put it in the lineup and said "Check back in two weeks, it should be available then." So I waited and watched and checked back a few times and after about 3 weeks, there it was! He had three of them in stock now. Success!!! I can hardly wait for an opportunity to cast some of these beauties!

That's a nice looking mould .

A while back I couldn't resist the temptation and ordered a Keith Signature Mould
412-237-SWC 3 cavity PB (Keith) . work of art.... I haven't used it yet , too pretty , so I ordered another 413-215-WC (413432) wadcutter 3 cavity in a group buy , this one I cast with. I have a model 58 S&W that I'm working up loads for and have high accuracy hopes for the wadcutter .

Give us a range report on the 412-237-SWC...I might have to get mine dirty !

I still haven't tried it yet, I'm still testing the MP 41-265TS HP mold. And I'm loading up a bunch of 250gr WFNs that a buddy of mine gave me. But the 412-237 is next on the hot plate when the weather is nice. (storming here in lower AL today and Mother's day)

I still haven't cast with it. I haven't cast anything in a couple of weeks. I've been loading a lot, as I had gotten way behind in that. I'm not even sure when I'll get to cast again. It's supposed to set records for heat here this weekend and the 15-day forecast shows it staying near the triple digit mark at least that long. My ol' tin casting shed will be turned into a convection oven!

Sadly, my hot tin casting shed is also my hot tin powdercoating shed. (because that's where the compressor and oven are kept.)
