It's raining pigs
UNTIL I get out there to shoot one. I got goose egged. I did see about 20 does in two still hunts and 4 small bucks. One of the does just about let me pet it. It stayed about 20 yards ahead of me on my dark walk about 6:15am. It kept lookin around at me then scamperin up 10 yards, turn around and look at me and repeat. Weirdest dang thing. A little skirt chasing was happening, but the doe didn't seem to want to oblige. A couple 'yotes came out to play. Great hunt! Frost in the morning and just a T-shirt from 10:00am on.

I had a blast. I brought a good friend on his first hunt. He wasn't disappointed about getting skunked. Enjoying Mutha Nature at her finest was the theme of the day.
Pig tracks and wallows were everywhere. I can't believe we didn't see any. I kicked up one on the same land a couple weeks ago and stuck it with a round nose while preping for a cull hunt after Thanksgiving. She smoked up wonderfully.
