Ruger SP 101 questions

My new Ruger SP101 .357 with 2 1/4" barrel.....has about 150 rounds
through it. (.39sp) The hammer and trigger have some really sharp edges
that seem like they should be smoothed out. The checkering on top of the
hammer is a super rough. And the cylinder latch is leaving a big scratch
all around the cylinder by the slots. Is this all normal? Should I send
back to Ruger for a check up? It shoots great and is very accurate.

the edges around the hammer are an easy fix with an emery board. the rings around the cylinder are normal and are found on most revolvers.

Any gunsmith can deburr it for you as well.

I knocked the sharp edges off the trigger of my SP101 with some emery paper. It took only about 15 minutes.
