Kansas Youth deer hunt this weekend!
Last year the Kansas started allowing a special "youth & disabled" deer season the last weekend in Sept. (Regular firearms season doesn't start until Nov. 28th). It's a great opportunity to get the young hunters out before the rush is on during the regular season.
My son is going out for his first hunt this weekend, I'll let you know how we did.
Other Kansas hunters keep us posted too!
