Gun Case for Tactical Rifle with Scope

Hello everyone. Just mounted a new scope on my DPMS LR 308 Flat Top. The problem is now it wont fit into the plastic suitcase gun case that I had for it. I dont want to have to take the scope off every time I go to the range. Does anyone have suggestions as to new gun suitcase for it. It measures 11 inches from the bottom for the pistol grip to the top of the elevation adjustment knob. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

What's the overall length? I carry Bagmaster Heavy Weapons cases that accomdate scopes.

Cost no object?

There are a lot of discounters on the internet for gun cases selling the above models, like Cases4Less. Do a search.

Pelican 1750

The pictures above contain one of the 1750 from pelican. I have one for my remington 700PSS and it works great. I have a 1700 for one of my M4A3's and it also works well, but doesn't have the wheels on it like the 1750. Google the pelican cases for spec's. you will pay more at first, but they are indesctructible (I weigh 230 and I can stand and jump on mine and it does nothing to the gun and zeiss scope inside, barely flexes) and air tight and waterproof. Plus you can get replacement foam from Pelican or many after market dealers that is custom cut to your gun setup and the foam is usually around 50 custom cut for the gun.

Go with Pelican! The rest are just imitations and you get what you pay for. I have the doskoicils and they are not in the same ball park as the pelicans.
