I see tons of these things for various prices, in several different versions, and from many countries of origin.
Ribbed, waffle pattern, Romanian, Russian, Hungarian, Chinese etc.

Is there REALLY any difference between these things?

Do the 40rd'ers work OK?

Are any of the drums better than others?

I like the Bulgarian and East German ones, they seem sturdier and fit better IMHO.

Like the motto BTW.

Chinese 75rd and 100rd drums are easier to load than Russian 75rd drums. Chinese drums can also be stored loaded.
