Ideas on changing barrels with rear ghost ring sight
Hi guys,
I have a remington 870 tactical (ghost rings version) http://www.remington.com/products/fi...-tactical.aspx My concern is with changing barrels. As you can see, the original barrel has the elevated front sight and works fine with the ghost rings. But if i change to a new barrel (typically bead, etc.), does this mean I'm screwed? Or do i have to remove the rear ghost ring sight every time i change to a new barrel? Up here in Canada, we're allowed to carry very short barreled shotguns (< 18") out in the bush. So I was going to get a 12" barrel to install. I'm mostly concerned with the sights, etc. thanks! J |

Have a smith put a front sight on your short barrel.
I have a 14" Mossberg 590A1 that has a ghost ring and a front sight.
