Ka-bar...Friend headed for Iraq

Got my best friend who I served with for 12yrs in the guard a "Ka-bar" knife. Could'nt buy him a pistol But I thought if I were going "Over there" and I do wish I were.......(Got Med, out in Oct 04) 19yrs Illinois guard. This is what I would want! to carry.........I would'nt want to get stuck with this!

Nice. I still want a Kabar - that's definitely the biggest void in my small knife collection.

Ka-Bar #1

I own several Ka-Bar Knives. Alcas Corp. is the parent company of Ka-Bar Knife Company.
The formation of a Limited Partnership, known as Tidioute Cutlery Company, on April 29, 1897 is now widely considered to be the beginnings of Ka-Bar's history.
The factory is only about 90 minutes away in Olean, NY. They have an outstanding factory outlet store and visitors center.

I am sure that he will love it. I've been over to Iraq 2 times now, and I wouldnt be caught dead without my K-bar. They really are a great knife. Wish your friend the best of luck for me, it can get prety rough over there.
