Thanks so much. I really believe that FaceBook is playing a big role in the current debate, and we need to be united on it. Good luck all.

I'll be at the rally in Concord, NH. So far the turnout looks to be decent according to other forums I frequent.

In Ohio we are running it without a permit. Must stay on sidewalk and keep moving. This worked well with the passage of the CHL law circa 2003, but I expect attendence to be greater and I am wondering how things will go. In 2010 or 2008, whenever the last one of these was, we filled up most of the state house lawn.

I was not able to make the Raleigh gathering yesterday. My local paper carried article about the nationwide rallies but nothing about Raleigh.
Did anyone here make it? I am making the day clear to go the the GRNC rally Tue, 2-5.

I was in Niagara square,Buffalo NY saturday and they claimed 1500 to 2000. It was ok....some women, some children and noticed, a lack of minority participation. We need everyone on board, especially in NY. If this isn't stopped here, the rest of the country MAY follow suit. My 2 cents.

I am not surprised about any lack of news coverage. They report what they want people to know about. A crime, an accidental shooting, etc. and they are all over it. Our Raleigh, NC station used to be a great station with mostly balanced news. They are still better than many but I haven't seen any coverage from them on the rally. All I can find so far is a youtube from one of the organizers.

yes, the coverage was spotty. The guys in NY said there were thousands in Albany, and another ralley in Buffalo with a couple thousand at it's peak.
In WA we had a couple thousand + in OLY...look on OCDO for a picture of a black woman Openly carrying an AR...love that picture. Oregon also says they had a couple thousand in Salem, and local News said supplimental ralley in Couer d'Alane Idaho had over a 1000 attend. Don't know how many in Boise. |

Heard crickets in relation to the pro gun rally in Albany but lots of reporting for a couple hundred that had a anti gun rally in NYC today. It gets awful frustrating.

Cam & Co. on the Sportsman channel reported 6000 in Albany. 300 showed up for the Million Mom gun control rally.

I was there in Salem OR. Sick as a dog, but I crawled out of bed to be there. There were approximately 1,200 people in attendance. There was only one woman there in opposition. I didn't actually see her, but her picture was in the paper. I saw zero opposition. The local news did report on it briefly, but concluded their report by saying that a national poll still shows that 75% of Americans favor an "assault weapons ban" with similar figures supporting a ban on "high capacity magazines". Given that, from what I've read, there were some 2,000 attendees in New York as opposed to 400 "of the "Million Mom" marchers, I find their claim somewhat dubious.

Iowa Rally
At the state capitol in Des Moines,IA 800 was the estimated number according to the evening news. I attended and the speakers were pretty good. No hecklers showed up though.
