Bad Patterns From a Mossberg
I have a riot barrel that throws rotten patterns with all the different types of buckshot that I have tried. Do I get a different barrel or is there someone that I can send it to that can improve its performance?

Like Giz said, what's it doing?
You said riot bbl, so I'm implying it's short, with little or not choke and not a tubed bbl. If patterns are truly bad,try in this order.... See if your ammo is correct for the chamber. 3" mags fired in 2 3/4" chambers not only are dangerous, but shoot lousy and kick like heck. Check the muzzle and bbl for dings. Try different ammo. One lots of us have tried and liked is the Estate brand "SWAT" 00. Natchez Shooting Supplies carries it, oft on sale for $2.19 a TEN pack. HTH.... |
