H&R Buffalo Classic???

I would like to take up black powder cartridge shooting without spending big bucks on a Sharps replica. Has anyone got any comments on the H & R Buffalo Classic. 32" barrel 45-70?

Any other suggestions?

I had a Buffalo Classic and sold it. Still wish I had it. They are decent rifles, but the lack of a tang means mounting a tang sight takes some creativity. They can be made to shoot quite accurately with the proper load, but the rifle is light, so a recoil pad is a neccesity. The best part is the price, as they are substantially cheaper than other BPCR rifles like Sharps and Rolling Blocks.
