454/45lc/45acp SBH?

Is one commercially available? It just makes so much sense...

You could probably get the 454 cut to shoot 45 acp. Ruger only makes it in the Super Redhawk, not in the the SBH, though. If you want a SBH 454 get a BFR 454. It's pretty much a stainless SBH, and although I've never shot one, I've heard the quality is better than Ruger.

Here's a link to one on gunbroker:

Great idea.
I love my 45 colt/45 acp BH.

I said SBH but meant Redhawk. I guess I could probably get one cut, but is just makes so much sense.

You can get one cut for moonclips for not too much money. Then it will shoot all three cartridges.

Yeah, but they could ship it from factory for even less money...
They could find the same smith as me and have 100 cut for and sell them w/ NP.

I seriously doubt you'll ever see such an offering from Ruger. Life's too short to wait around for the factory to produce what you want. If they don't, you have to take matters into your own hands.

I don't shoot 454, 45 lc, or 45 ACP, so I am not all that interested in one.

I am considering a deer gun in a heavy hitting caliber like 454, but i am leaning towards 44 mag.

I just find it surprising one is not offered since it would be so easy to do and I think a lot of guys would prefer the versatility.
