Sig Sauer P229 SAS Gen 2 Pistol Grip question
For those of you who own a Sig Sauer p229 SAS Gen 2 version, would it be possible to change it's factory grip to a Hogue Rubber Grip?
Thanks. |

P229 SAS Gen 2 uses standard P229 grips so I see no reason why not.

Not sure what constitutes the Gen2. Had my 229 issued about 10 years ago and immediately put the Hoge rubber on. They are great grips if you have a large hand because they are pretty beefy. In the heat, they make a big difference being able to hold the FA with sweaty or bloody hands. Would also recommend that you replace the Sig grip screws with stainless steel hex screws. The Sig grip screws are notorious for rusting.

Yes. The new grips are terrible. I changed the grips on my brothers to Hogue grips.
