Results From The Nationals
Just got in after a 11 hour drive from Friendship Indiana for the 81st year of
the Nationals. Wife Paulette won the Women's Pistol Championship for the 10th time . I got second in the "As Issue" Revolver Championship and second in the Repilca Revolver match. Had a good time. Tired. More shooters this year which was good. Thousands of people. |

Congrats to both you and your wife, Phil. Well done, once again. You give me hope.

Congrats to you both! Sounds like you all had a great time!
Glad to hear the attendance was up. I had hoped to go this spring as I haven't been in a number of years but some health issues kept me here. Maybe I can make it in the fall. Hope the weather was good all week. If a person who likes BP shooting has never been to Friendship to the Nationals . . . they need to go. It's a great relaxing experience with an opportunity to shoot or just "Kick back" and watch and enjoy. Great folks and a good opportunity to make a lot of new friends. Congrats again and thanks for the post - always enjoy reading them!

Don't have any of our from this shoot. Got too many here at the house now.
I did snap a picture of Peter's 10 shot revolver target. He is from England. I was walking by and seen this large hole in the middle of the target at 25 yards. Just had to get a picture. He shoots like this all the time. He is not normal. |

Impressive. So how do they score subsequent shots that went through that big hole?

We have two very skilled women in the pistol scoring shack that have been
keeping score for over 25 years that I have been shooting there. Nothing gets by them. They can see the 10 holes in the target. They have little plexiglass scorings templets that go over the target. It's a job I would not want. |
