Tripod for hunting
For those that hunt with a revolver, I’m looking for suggestions on shooting sticks. I hunt in PA, so it’s never on flat ground. Will be using this in blinds mostly. When I hunt my own property I’ll be tucked into rocks and shooting freehand.
Will be hunting with a Ruger Redhawk. Thanks in advance for the help! |

Bog pod makes some quality models. I have the shorter model for use off a bench

I use a Primos Trigger Stick. It’s a monopod, not a bipod or tripod. I use it when hunting with my scoped revolvers or TC Contenders.
Been hunting with a handgun in PA for 25+ years .

I think you will find trigger stix the best fit for hunting speed and accuracy, especially at revolver distances.

Interesting, but I think you will find tripods in general too slow to deploy for shorter than 300 yd shots.
IME, I need a rest to shoot a revolver over 50-75 yds. So, I need a pretty fast bipod or tripod for 75-125 yd revolver shots. |

Another vote for BOG. In a blind, great. Still hunting, I use STEALTHPOD X.

Thanks for the info. Just realized I had a cheap monopod in my basement. Going to try that out this weekend to get a feel for it at 50yds.
