Nearly full pound of Unique in Central Ohio for Swap

Anyone want a nearly full pound of Unique in Central Ohio? Loaded about 50 rounds of .40 and I'm just not happy with it. Just picked it up two days ago. Will trade for .40, 6.5jap brass, or a shiny $10 bill. Hell, I'll probably trade it for a cold bottle of IBC

I'd take it off your hands if I was closer.

A one pounder doesn't take up much space. Why not just hang on to it? Who knows, someday you might buy a .45Colt.

(Or one of the many other cartridges that Unique works great in.)

StarvingBoy:

I just called my brother who lives in Lancaster, OH and he is really interested in taking the Unique off your hands. He has .40 brass to trade. He was at the store when I called him at 12:30PM Ohio time today (Sunday, 5 July 09), and he indicated he would check out the forum as well as the Ohio forum and try and make contact with you. Good luck.

I'm HDDELUXE brother.
I'd be more than happy to take that Unique off your hands for trade for brass or cash. Let me know. I live in Lancaster and can travel as retired.

Hey Guys. I'm over in Springfield, and will not get to lancaster for about 2 weeks. If someone wants to make the trip, I'll make sure someone is home to hand the jug off. First come, etc.

And as for hanging on to it... it really doesn't work very well with my powder measure. I think I'll switch over to something more friendly to my lee-disk-rig. If someone else wants it, I'd rather it be used than sit and collect dust.

Pound of Unique

I had a deal with Starvingboy and the day before the trade he sends a PM that says.

"Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but a local guy just bought it out from under you. He says they quit making it (?) and was happy to get his hands on it. I pointed him to the local gun shop here in Springfield, I think they had a few bottles left."

I sent a PM to Starvingboy saying the following:

"That is just plain rude, having someone get it without giving me at least a chance to counter. It goes against the ethics and protocal of the forum. Bad form."

Posted experience on the feedback forum.

Yep, what he said. I had about 4-5 offers, didn't mean to to tick anyone off. One guy was just down the road a bit, and it went to him out of convenience. Sorry if I stepped on any toes with this, I was just trying to clear out the garage.

But that "convenience" just cost you a lot of reputation points. A deal's a deal.
