Folding Target Stand For Flat or Uneven Ground

DIY - Folding Target Stand For Flat or Uneven Ground.

Compact, lightweight yet sturdy. Each of the four legs are independent allowing the stand to accommodate flat or uneven ground. Folds flat for transport or storage. The stand is made from 2 X 2s and 1 X 2s, four flat head screws and two 3/8 18 carriage bolts, washers, wing nuts and cardboard.

The only tools you need are a saw, drill and screwdriver.

The dimensions shown below accommodate four 8 1/2 X 11” targets. The dimensions can be changed to fit most any size target.

You are welcome. BTW, make the 3/8 holes in the swinging legs slightly oversized, helps with set up and take down.

I spotted in the title ... Target Stand ... and was reminded it is political campaigning time around here ... politician's signs are stuck in every yard ... keep an eye on the big ones
They Make Excellent Target Stands ... and are Free .
The larger steel framed ones stick into the ground , you can tape 4 -6 targets on them .
They may not fold up but most are light weight and constructed well enough to last several years ...
And ... Who doen't like Free
Can also think of it as Recycling and ... even saving the planet ...
... Yeah , that's the Ticket ... We are Saving the Planet !!!

Correction:

Correction, the 3/8 bolts and wing nuts are 3/8-16, not 3/8-18 as shown on the drawing.
