cominolli safety

I was talking to one of the Glock armorers at a recent gun show. He stated that if My Glock had a Cominolli safety, he would no longer work on my gun. I tried one of the other armorers, same story. No reason given. Any ideas.

Hard to say.

Perhaps they are uncomfortable with the modification and believe that they might be subject to some sort of liability?

re. cominolli

The issue you mention 481 makes sense, but both armorers will install the Siderlock trigger safety.

Then put me down for "stumped". I don't know why they won't do it then.

It's not like it is a tremendously complicated mod to deal with.

Glock will work on and honor the warranty on any pistol which has a Cominolli Safety. I had mine installed by Alex at Ten Ring Precision years ago. Why the armorers didn't want to work on them...who knows.
