Scored a Model 63 no dash. Since it is a no dash and no barrel pin, I think mid 80's

AYF7xxx

Thanks!

I have two Smith .22 revolvers I'd like dated if you please.
A model 63 no-dash 4", non-pinned, red ramp & white outline sights M221XXX,
and a model 34-1 4" pinned, black sights M313XX.

Thank you!!

Thanks! I should have looked before asking as the photo of a parkerized S&W was a Victory. It does have the V prefix on the other side of the D ring.

M221xxx = 1983. However, that serial numbers seems to high for a 63 no dash.
M313xx = 1971.

Thank you so much!
I looked again for any signs of a "dash 1" behind the yoke, just a clear stamped 63.
I found this online.

Serial Number

I just picked up a S&W 38 Safety 3.5 inch really cheap form an auction. It's in pretty bad shape but still has the original box. I thought trying to clean it up would be a good project. The serial on it is 179XXX. I don't see any letters in front of the numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

.38 Safety Hammerless 4th Model. Serial numbers ran from 116003 in 1898 to 220000 in 1907.

There should be a “N” prefix with that number. Look on the underside of the grip frame for the serial number. You may have to remove the grips to see it.
N7828xx would be 1980.

AHU puts it around 1985.
In 80%, about $350 to $400.

Scored a pair of S&W Titanium snubbies: CDH0xxx and CDH3xxx. I think that would put them around 2001. Thanks!

1981.
Serial numbers ran from J760001 to J915400 that year.

Found a deal on a 66-1, 76K4xxx. I would guess 1980 or 1981, right before the switch to 66-2.

Thanks!
