Thanks to ArmySon for sharing with us here on TFL a most personal moment by way of his entry in the Photo Contest.
ArmySon, you may notice, is Staff Alumnus here on TFL. Soon after the attack on the Twin Towers in New York City, in September 2001, ArmySon left civilian life to reenter the US Army. The memorial shown in his entry was one of his squad. It is in commemoration of his friend lost in battle. For those that cast votes for ArmySon's entry, your vote was not wasted. Congrats LongRifles on the win! Beautiful picture! Great picture by Son as well. Very moving.
