Magazines For H&K USP .45

In 1995 I bought an H&K USP (full size) .45ACP It came with 2-10rd mags. A year later I bought another 10rnd mag. Now I'm looking to get some new mags. I've seen some 12rnd mags available, and since the law now allows me to purchase a mag with a capacity of more than 10, I'd like to do that. I "think" that the 12rnd mags should work, but I'd like to ask the USP owners out there to confirm.

In my Hk USP .45 that I had I only used the 12 round mags because that's what it came with and they worked great. If you're asking if there is a difference between the 10 and 12 round mags with fitting your pistol, there is none, they both fit flush and work fine.

Nick,

jhgreasemonkey has it right. The differences between the magazines exist solely within the magazines themselves.

Both will fit the HK USP 45. I have three of them and know this to be a fact.

The 12 round mags are what the gun was designed to have. The 10 round mags are what the U.S. anti-gunners foisted upon "We the People". The 12 round mags cost more than the 10 rounders, otherwise there's no difference in function or use.
