Help mediagnose my CZ problem

Hmmm. CZ 75 Compact. Alla sudden, trigger not engaging sometimes; engaging sometimes; sometimes engaging at first and then slipping. Talking double action pull here. What's going on is the transfer bars on each side are going underneath the engagement surface - there is a fair amount of loosey goosey play up and down in the transfer bars for some reason - maybe almost 1/8th inch of play there. If I hold the bars up high manually with my fingers when the slide is off, it shoots double action. If I don't, it doesn't. What has gone wrong here - must be a broken/missing part, but which? Thanks.

PS. It is NOT a mag disconnect safety - this gun doesn't have one of those. This happens both with mag in and mag out.

Sounds like a trigger bar spring problem.

Here's a schematic. The spring is part #45.

Bingo. Thanks, kart racer. Ahhh, I like problems like that. Only thing needed was your advice and a screwdriver. NGR (no gunsmith required). :happydance:
