Pachmayr Decellerator on a CZ Model 3
Does anyone know whether I can order a pre-fir Decellerator for this rifle? It is a pretty straight copy of a Winchester Model 70, but I just don't know whether I can use a pad cut for a Model 70 on it, and, if I can, which size to use. Any insight is greatly appreciated. My CZ is a 300 WSM - don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks.

recoil pad
Dear Sir:
I would use the decelerator or the Sims "limb saver." You will need to probably use a grindable pad, be very careful. I think the CZ rifles are very, very fine rifles, but I wouldn't have any of the WSMs' in my shop! Harry B. |

If you have a good gun shop nearby, check on a price installed. A brother-in-law bought one installed for $25 extra (total of around $57). The smith fitted the stock, trimmed it down, and installed the pad for that price.
