Why not move the RDS forward and put a Magpul MBUS flip up rear sight?

Sure places the carry handle in a odd place and way out of balance for real world carry.

Redundancy is a good thing in sighting systems.
That being said, I don't think that setup will work really well. Can you even see through the rear sight aperature that far away? I agree with RT, just get a MBUS. Or if you like the fixed sights cut the carry handle in half and make your own LMT rear sight. Just move it back closer to your eye so you can see through it.

I put it on there as a joke, just wanted to see what people would say. no you cant see the fron sight, but it co-witnesses pretty well
I plan on getting an mbus backup sight in the near future |
