H&R Sportsman ser#55xxx- no initial

Help! I have a H&R .22 lr Breaktop 9 shot that I'm trying to get a production date on. Ordering parts is not a easy chore without a date. It does not have
the triple 9's model number on it & there's some small differences in parts. H&R info seems a little scarce & I'm still awaiting the book of info to be published. This one won't index so I assume(I KNOW) that the hand or the auto ejector isn't coming together. Any help is welcome. Thanks!
