Rich,

Say it ain't so! The only thing I ever (so far) asked for on TFL and it was just a teaser! Barfey's being blamed for bringing down the GD forum ( and I don't mean General Discussion, either!) It ain't right.

I'm poutin' ..... gotta go get some meds.

Sensop-
For the life of me, I can't figure it.

Go edit one of your posts with the barfey...you'll see that the system creates the entire image and source in the post. For the other icons, it shows only the code you used to reference the smiley...the actual smiley is created when you call the thread.

Even this shouldn't have taken General down but I've recreated the problem repeatedly. I'm no Perl wizard, but I've done my share of coding in past lives and I'm stumped.
Rich

I noticed the entire http reference for the barfey in the posts, as opposed to just the "label" for the others. I didn't think anything of it at the time. Oh, well, a problem for the future.

Perl. I did notice the server is running Redhat. I'm getting a system ready to run Linux myself soon. I tried it a few months back and decided to make the plunge.

Thanks for all the work you do here Rich.

BTW, check your email for "The Critter", 10 June.

And what are the voices telling you Sensop?

I guess my sources were wrong about the Green Goblins being the problem with the General. We now know it was Sensop and Barfey. But, what about the aliens and Area 51?
