Where to buy Black Powder?
Ok so it seems that good old black powder is made of UNOBTAINIUM in South Carolina. Does anyone know of anywhere within reasonable driving distance I can buy some? If I am going to play with black powder revolvers, I WANT BLACK POWDER DOGGONIT! Trackofthewolf will ship it but they sell a case of 25 1 pound cans as a minimum quanity! Maybe a group buy?

Powder, Inc. in Arkansas.
You have to buy case lots. Price is good. You can share with others and recoup part of your expense. Share, don't sell. Selling requires a license. Big sports stores like Cabela's and Bass Pro Shop may have it but you need to ask, it cannot be displayed. |

You can order substitutes from bass pro or cabelas. Its not real black powder, but it shoots the same in my opinion. Real black powder is cool though.

Most Bass Pro Shops stock Goex black powder.
You may need to ask the gun dept. management to get it from storage. There are Bass Pro Shop stores in Columbia, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. But call first to inquire if they have any in stock. Last I bought from http://www.powderinc.com. Very reasonable prices when you buy a case. I know that maybe out of the question for some but my intention has always been to SHOOT MORE so I like to have plenty on hand. BTW, shipping is free w/case purchase - at least it was when I bought mine.
