I am looking for a holster for my glock 22. The only ones i find are too high on the waist. I would like to find one where the grip of the pistol is about the same hight as my pants pocket...

I like the look of the Fobus but I have no Idea what it looks like on a person.

Any ideas?

I have a question.

What are you hoping to accomplish with a 'low-ride' holster?

Well, I am looking for something I can use to holster the pistol while hunting, hiking, or plinking. Do not need any sort of concealment.

Take a look at Bianchi's Universal Military holsters. The model UM92II fits the Glock 17/22/31.

I have one and it rides low enough to be comfortable while hunting/hiking.

It also has a full flap that can be removed and replaced with just a strap, if you prefer.

I like the extra protection afforded the gun by the flap, so I leave mine on.

Good luck.

You should check out duty holsters for LEOs. I've seen several low ride models.

I have a Fobus belt holster for my Glock 22 and it is so comfortable that I forget I am wearing it at times.
