Rem 870 Youth Stock Size?

Hi all. Me again. I have been looking for a gun for the kids and came across a decent looking Express Magnum today. At first I thought it had a full length stock with the 21 inch barrel. I measured the pull and it came to 13 including a 1 inch recoil pad. Made the stock 12 I guess. That is a youth gun right?

Also are the receivers the same so I can convert to full size with a barrel and stock at some point?

They want $225 for it.

14 inches should be adult and ordering a stock later should be just as easy.

That's either a youth model or a compact. Receivers are the same size so everything matches for later.

Sounds like it is 12". That is perfect for my sonand it does sound like the youth model. I was looking at a mossy 505 but they cost the same as the 870 nowadays so I think I will get the better gun.
