1943 Ithaca 1911-A1

Just picked this up at the Big Reno Show yesterday. I have been looking to acquire a WWII Ithaca to replace the one I foolishly sold several years ago.

Found this one kind of by accident and I was able to trade into it with no cash outlay, so I am pleased with the deal.

The lighting tends to wash out the finish, it looks far better in person.

Shown with my '42 Colt.

Beautiful! I have always wanted a WW2 vintage 1911. My friend has 4 of them and won't sell one. Boo Hiss!

Very nice find. It looks very clean and well kept. Good looking Colt there too!
