G3 Mags in Bandos in 50 cal. Ammo Can
I took USGI m16/m4 four-pocket cloth bandoliers, pulled the string thing to expand the pockets (too shallow to hold the mags with it), and then took them to a local seamstress to have the bottom folded up a little and double-stitched (too deep for my taste without it). A regular 50 cal. ammo can will then hold three four-pocket bandoliers, with 12 G3 mags and 240 rounds of .308 or 7.62x51 ammunition each. I’ve got two cans loaded up so far (24 mags and 480 rounds). I think I’m going to order a few more mags so that I can load up at least one more can.

Shipping out soon, and do you have a bearer in mind to carry the cans?
Storing mags and ammo can be a challenge, looks like you found a solution that works for you.
