Log-in each time?

Even though I checked the "remember me" box, I have to log-in every time I visit. Other forums recognise me unless I've deleted my cookies. What gives?

Try running http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/mycookies.php
Then shut down and reopen your browser.
Let me know if that does it.

I had the same problem. I went to the "privacy" tab on internet options and discovered that it had been set to always block TFL cookies. Dunno how that happened. Entered the TFL url and set it to allow cookies. Log off, then back on and it works now...

DRD, the next time it forces you to login when you think you shouldn't have to, go to that URL and make sure that both userid and password cookies are present. If they're not, your browser is deleting the cookies for some reason.

In the unlikely event the cookies are there, let us know.

Yeah but I found it....

I had the same problem for months on end with IE. I did everything to correct the problem. The I found the Fire Fox Browser. It remembers everything. Free download at www.firefox.com
