RCBS dies in Hornady Lock-N-Load press?

i am fairly new to the reloading game and im wondering if i can use an RCBS die in a Hornady Lock-N-Load press. do i need to buy something else for the 2 to work together?

any advice appreciated!

All dies use the same thread so you are good to go. You should have three bushings in your kit. You will need one LNL bushing for each of your dies. They sell them in 10 packs.

All my dies are RCBS and I have a LnL AP and it all works together just fine.

The only problems I have had with RCBS dies in the LNL was only due to the die design.

Before progressive presses became so common, the mouth on the resizing die was quite small.

My old .44 dies were a problem on the LNL where on the single stage it was the norm for me to guide the case into the die mouth.

New dies seem to have more of a radius or bigger mouth which solves the issue on progressive presses.

Back 15 or so years ago, I can remember a friend sending dies back to RCBS to be opened up or exchanged. Carl was using a Dillon, so this "problem" has been around for awhile.

They'll work, but just to be sure, get a bottle of Jamitall in case the cases won't go in.
