Reading reloading manuals

Have found benefits from actually reading the reloading manuals over the years. Found a very interesting section in the new Sierra manual literally labeled "Squaring dies" Am glad Sierra found use for resurrecting the practice of printing this in manuals, as for some it was never learned.

The section starts on page 137, and go half way down page 138.

The first sentence reads "One facet of die adjustment that is seldom mentioned is "squaring" the die. " Interesting nomenclature, and is free for the trying.

There is a section on reduced powder loads in lee book.

Read Norma's 2013 print manual, and you will learn a lot about powders and how the environment affects their performance, how a relative burn rate chart is made, etc.

Berger's manual also has some really helpful sections that apply to reloading and understanding the reasons for some of the tricks that some of us learn the hard way.

A ton of info in all reloading manuals both old and new Everybody should have 5-7 manuals at their fingertips for reference Keyboards are great but a lof useful stuff is fond in the manuals themselves, AND they are cheap $5 at gun shows for old ones , Used book stores and thrift stores that carry books
