Well, because we've got over six new members this year, and because some existing members might be getting a little forgetful (not all bad...you get to hide your own Easter Eggs) I thought I'd bring this back today.

During the "Nam" era, we had our own lyrics for the song, don't remember them now, other than the 1st day was "a sniper in a palm tree"

I think that might have been a holdover from the WWII version, pacific theater.

I used to have a friendly competition with my Father-in-law about who could hang the biggest cartridge in a bare tree. We stopped competing after he came to my house for Christmas to find that I'd gotten ahold of a single round of .600 Nitro Express and hung it in the tree in my front yard
