Snapshot Range

What range are you comfortable at making snapshots? I mean quick locate-identify-align-acquire front sight-shoot type of shots that you take in say a second or less reliably to a target 10" or so in diameter.

I can pull aimed shots pretty solidly out to 25 yards or so. But practicing quick engagement snapshots to a target ~45 degrees off my starting axis is a challenge. So far 10 yards is a challenge to be consistant.
